Children come from various primary schools from the area. The pedagogical staff and the manager maintain contact with the children's teachers about picking them up from school. Some are picked up by the group leaders by foot. The day care centre makes every effort to arrange transportation to the day care centre for children from schools that are somewhat further away. Each location with out-of-school care has a list of primary schools from which (taxi) transportation can be arranged. Transportation costs are charged based on the rate ‘including taxi'. If several children from the same family make the same trip on the same days, skon only charges transportation expenses once.
