Out-of-school care

The focus on the child is also the basic assumption at skon's out-of-school care facilities. All day care centres have scores of opportunities for games, creative activities and sports challenges. Activities are organised both indoors and outdoors and are geared to age and interest. The children can also indicate their own preferences. For the younger children, the accent usually lies on a nice homey environment, a feeling of security and relaxation. The older children like to play with friends and seek challenging activities.

Various activities

Our out-of-school facilities offer various types of activities. Children sometimes decide themselves what they would like to do, while at other times the pedagogical staff prepare a game. Moreover, we also provide special activities for which the children can sign up. These activities are also available for other children in the school or neighbourhood.

After school hours and during school holidays

The out-of-school care branches are open directly after school hours and for full days during school holidays.

You can make incidental use of our day care facilities even if you are not a regular skon customer. You then pay with a ticket strip. The manager of the blauwe dieren day care centre in your area would be happy to tell you more about this system, its costs and the options.
