Out-of-school care is a shared responsibility. Therefore, we believe that good contact between parents, group leaders and teachers is important, not only to exchange information, but also because parents can provide a good contribution to the daily routine.
Of course there is contact when the children are picked up. There is regular telephone contact with parents of children who go home independently. We have discussions about the child, walk-in afternoons and parents' evenings. And of course an appointment can always be made with a pedagogical staff member or manager. We also inform parents via the information board, the day care centre newspaper, newsletters and at biannual parents' evenings. Moreover, parents can participate in the parents' committee, which advises on practical matters of the day care, among other things.
